Super Sexy Original 1930s 30s Vintage Low Back Femme Fatale Black Velvet Evening Dress

This stunning evening gown was made from sumptuous black rayon velvet around the turn of the decade between the 1930s and the 1940s. It was cut in a full length style with a small gathered train at the back and a super sexy low V cut back. Seven fabric covered buttons adorn the back from the tip of the V to the scalloped waist seam. The front of the dress features a higher cut square neckline and beautifully gathered sleeves with two buttons at the end of each. Inside, the dress is unlined but features the super practical bra strap holders. The dress fastens with poppers on the wearer’s right hand side. This piece gives us strong femme fatale vibes all round and is sure to make an entrance at any black tie event.

The dress is in good condition, however there is some slight flattening to the velvet in some places as pictured. The back V detail is showing some slight fraying at the top, a tiny seam split near the waist seam and the second from bottom button is missing (we can move the bottom one up for you, if you would like us to do so). There is also some slight seam stress at the waist and the wearer’s left side, leading to a small underarm hole as pictured and the shoulder seam has been repaired.
