This fabulous dress set was made in the 1940s from royal blue linen with a gorgeous white rocking horse novelty print. This is a cleverly designed maternity set to take the wearer through her whole pregnancy and be worn afterwards too. The dress is fully adjustable with draw stings at the bust and waist and button on straps that can be easily unfastened for feeding the baby. The loose fitting button down smock style jacket has padded shoulders and serves as a wonderful cover up and could be equally worn casually with trousers. Both pieces are unlined and without maker’s labels.

The dress set is in very good condition with only a few barely noticeable frays and holes and some slight discolouration to the jacket sleeve as pictured.
