Stunning Original Late 1940s Vintage Black Velvet Femme Fatale Princess Coat
This stunning coat was made from sumptuous black velvet in the late 1940s / early 1950s. The coat was cut in the classic princess silhouette of the period with lightly padded shoulders, a nipped waist and a flared skirt. The coat has raglan shoulders and wide cut sleeves. The sharp collar creates a flattering V neckline and the coat fastens with a single sheer yellow button at the waist. The skirt has gorgeous flare and movement as well as functional slit pockets and the inside is lined in red faille with a National Recovery Board tag.

The coat is in good condition with only a mend to the buttonhole, a couple of seam splits to the lining and two small spot as pictured.
