This amazing coat was made from royal blue gabardine in the 1940s. It was cut in a classic swing coat silhouette with strong padded shoulders and a loose fit below. The small collar highlights the shoulder line and the unusual diagonal button detailing at the bust. A wonderful triangular detail adorns the back of the coat and large turn up cuffs finish off the sleeves beautifully. Small slit pockets at the waist add a practical element and inside, the coat is lined in satin.

The coat is in very good condition with only a few small marks and slight discolouration as pictured.
