This fabulous coat was made from pastel pink gabardine in the 1940s. It was cut in a classic swing coat silhouette with padded shoulders and a loose fit. The back features a gorgeous Western style shoulder yolk from which the swing back falls in large swishy pleats. The large dagger collar leads to a single button at the neck which fastens the coat. There are small functional slit pockets at the waist and large turn up cuffs finish off the sleeves beautifully. Inside, the coat is lined in satin.

The coat is in very good condition with only a few barely noticeable marks and a moth graze as pictured. There is also a mark and a small split to the lining.
