Original Vintage Black Velvet 1930s 30s Soutache Tassel Dress

This wonderful cocktail dress was made from sumptuous black velvet in the 1930s. It is adorned with intricate soutache and passementerie tassel detailing around the collar and soutache panels on the hips. The dress closes with a metal zipper at the back.

Waist: 26”
Hip: 40”
Shoulder to Hem: 46”
Under arm to sleeve: 12”

The dress is in very good condition, however there is a small mark to the front just below the waist (this is hardly noticeable) as well as some depression in the pile of the velvet  and the hem has dropped on one of the sleeves as pictured.
