This stunning and elegant 1940s dress is as beautiful as it is unique. It was made from crepe and has a lovely velvet leaf appliqué from the hem to the bodice, with each leaf having been embroidered around the edge and through the centre in order to add definition. It also features full sleeves, an internally corseted waist (see pictures) with hook and eye fastenings as well as a draped skirt. The dress closes with its original metal zipper.

This dress is in very good condition, however there is some iron sheen to the front of the dress as pictured, but this is hardly noticeable.
