This stunning blouse was made from rust coloured crepe in the 1940s. It is cut in a classic early 1940s style with short gathered puff sleeves and a small collar. The front of the blouse has been adorned with a large ruffle with two sets off three offset buttons running down the centre. The blouse fastens with five matching buttons at the back and has the CC41 utility label inside.

The blouse is in good condition, however there is a slightly lightened area on the wearer’s right shoulder as well as a couple of barely visible marks and a small darn as pictured.
