Original Vintage 1940s 40s Pink Crepe And Lace Dress By Adrian
This beautiful short sleeve dress was made in the 1940s from a pink crepe with a lace top to simulate a jacket and dress set. The lace faux jacket has a large lapel collar, with a v-neckline created by a coming together at the waist. The lace falls in a pleasing waterfall effect and extends down to the back of the thigh at the rear. The crepe underdress has a rounded neckline with lace edge and extends down to below the knee. The garment has an opening down the centre of the back with a metal zipper and a maker’s label for Adrian inside at the neckline.
Length: 43” plus 1 3/4” hem
The dress is in good condition, however it has some fading to the shoulders and some faint staining to the lace as pictured. There are a few small holes in the lace but they are barely noticeable due to the crepe underdress.
