This stunning black velvet capelet was made in the 1800s probably during the reign of Queen Victoria. It has been adorned with hundreds of jet beads arranged to create a glitzy look to a beautiful garment. It has hook and eye fastenings to the front and is in good condition for its age. There are a few missing beads and two small pin holes to the velvet as pictured.
