Original Early 1950s 50s Vintage Quilted Red Plaid Circle Skirt

This fabulous circle skirt was made from a red fabric with a black, white and yellow plaid pattern in the late 1940s / early 1950s. It is cut in a classic circle style with a nipped waist and a squishy full skirt. The fabric has been quilted to a heavy interlining material to give it added stiffness and better movement while dancing.

Hem circumference: 206”

The skirt is in good condition, however some if the quilting thread has come loose., which we have tried to show in the pictures. This does not cause the lining to detach so could be simply snipped off. One of the belt loops has come loose (will stitch back on) and there is some fraying to the others.
