This stunning hat was made from navy blue wool felt in the late 1930s / early 1940s. It features a low shaped crown and a medium size brim. The crown is decorated with a extra wide grosgrain ribbon, which is shaped into a training bow at the back of the hat. This classic design is super versatile to wear with all those fabulous wartime outfits. 

 

The hat perches loosely on the head and is suitable for a variety of head sizes.

 

The hat is in very good condition with only a couple of tiny pinholes (possibly from a hat pin) and a little damage to the grosgrain band as pictured.
