Original 50s 1950s Vintage Gab Gabardine Fawn Grey Lilli Ann Peplum Ladies Skirt Suit

This stunning skirt suit was made by from a fine quality gabardine in the 1950s. Like many of the early 1950s Lilli Ann suits, this piece is more reminiscent of the strongly tailored suiting of the 1940s. The shape defining padded shoulders and nipped waist helps to create that classic fitted look Lilli Ann are famous for. The point of the v-neckline marks the beginning of a double line of fabric covered spherical buttons. The double tiered scalloped and padded peplum highlights the garment’s shape giving true emphasis to the wearer’s waist and hips. Inside, the suit is lined in pink crepe and has a makers label for Lilli Ann.
