Original 1970s 70s does 1940s 40s Vintage Forest Green Wool Ski Jumper Top
This lovely jumper was made from forest green wool in the 1970s. The design was very much inspired by 1940s ski and hiking wear and it would look great worn as part of a ski suit or with breaches as a walking ensemble. The top has a small button down collar and an arrow placket at the neck with threshold tone buttons. This collar looks equally good buttoned or worn open with the collar not buttoned down. Matching buttons fasten the cuffs of the jumper and inside, there is a maker’s label for Summit of Boston and a Garment Workers Union label.
Bust: 41”
Waist: 38”
Shoulders: 16” seam to seam
Length: 21 1/2”
The jumper is in good condition with some fabric pile loss and darns and a small mark as pictured. There is also a missing cuff button.
