Original 1950s Vintage Black Velvet With Purple Stripe Skirt Suit By Slimuette Petite

This original 1950s skirt suit has been made from a black velvet with a distinctive purple stripe. It has a large rounded shawl collar and five cloth covered buttons.

This skirt has significant wear to the pile of the velvet (this was not possible to photograph as it can only be seen in certain light). The accompanying jacket is still in good condition.
