This super cute trapeze swing coat was made from a brown and cream nubby bouclé wool in the 1950s. It comes in a heavy winter weight to keep you warm and snuggly. The amazing shawl collar extends across the shoulders and rounds at the rear with a centre notch. The waist is highlighted with little belts with large eye catching tortoiseshell effect buttons and small front pockets. The cuffs of the coat are furnished with faux storm straps. Inside, the garment is lined in copper acetate and has an American Garment Union label. This wonderful piece is a clutch coat so has no closures and is intended to be worn loosely with the edges meeting.

The coat is in good condition, however it appears to be missing the cuff buttons and the lining is coming apart at the shoulder seams as pictured.
