Original 1940s 40s Vintage Lavender Lilac Crepe Skirt Suit With Triangular Buttons
This fantastic skirt suit was made from a lilac crepe in the 1940s. The suit features the strong padded shoulders and silhouette defining nipped waist that typify garments of the wartime era. The collarless v-neckline and opening below the three unusual triangular buttons are positioned to draw the eye to the centre of the jacket and complement the silhouette. Two lines of pleats are present from the waist to the hem of the skirt and help to elongate the wearer’s leg. The skirt retains its original metal zipper with top button.
