This distinctive skirt suit was made in 1947 from a fine quality grey and black check wool. The suit is double breasted with six metal buttons and has a wide swing cut. The collar of the blazer is both wide (almost a cape collar) and notched helping to emphasise the strong shape of the jacket with its bold padded shoulders. There are two flapped waist pockets as well as an acetate lining and maker’s label for David’s.

The suit is is good condition however there are some barely noticeable marks as pictured to the sleeves of the jacket.
