Original 1940s Vintage Cream CC41 Utility Heel Suede Leather Shoes
These beautiful cream suede shoes were made in the 1940s as a part of the utility programme of rationing. As a result they have the CC41 markings on the inside of the shoe (please see pictures). They have leather soles and are very well made.
The shoes measure at 8 3/4” long and 2 5/8” wide at the ball of the foot. They are marked at a size 3 1/2.
The leather is still nice and supple and actually is very good condition for its age. There are some minor marks to the surface of the shoes as well as a watermark (see 2nd picture) and some very minor scuffs to the soles as you would expect.
