Original 1940s 40s Vintage Textured Diagonal Stripe Eau De Nil Chiffon Blouse With Double Elevens Utility Label
This stunning blouse was made from an eau de nil coloured chiffon in the 1940s. The fabulous material has a textured tree bark effect and additionally is adorned with diagonal pin tucked stripes at the front introducing lots of texture. Seven transparent buttons run down the back of the blouse as well a press stud at the collar and three buttons at each cuff. Inside, there is a maker’s name for Henri and a dinner plate or double elevens label denoting that the blouse is a post war rationed garment of superior quality.
There is a fair remount of stretch to the fabric so sizing is quite flexible. We have shown below measurements at rest and maximum stretch without distortion.

The garment is in very good condition, however there are a couple of very faint stains as pictured and the buttons could do with being stitched down more firmly.
