Original 1940s 40s Vintage Mustard Yellow Summer Skirt Suit By Handmacher Weathervane
This gorgeous summer suit was made from a lightweight celanese fabric in the late 1940s. It comes in a bright shade of yellow and a classic hourglass silhouette with a nipped waist. The jacket is cut in a collarless style and fastens with five mother of pearl buttons at the front. It also features a slit bust pocket and cure triangular pockets at the waist. In classic summer suit style, the sleeves are three quarter length and the suit is unlined. Inside, both the jacket and skirt feature the Weathervane by Handmacher maker’s label. The skirt fastens with an original metal side zipper and button closure above.
