Original 1940s 40s Vintage Red Gabardine Swing Coat With Lucite Button
This fabulous coat was made from bright red gabardine in the 1940s. It is cut in a classic swing shape with strong padded shoulders and a loose fit elsewhere. The sharp collar and turn up cuffs are highlighted with contrasting stitching and the functional waist pockets add a practical element. The coat fastens with a single decorative lucite button at the neckline. Inside, it is lined in peach rayon and does not have any maker’s labels.
