This wonderful suit was made in the 1940s from luxurious red boucle wool with an emerald green fleck. As you would expect from a suit from this decade, it has padded shoulders and a nipped waist to create that hourglass silhouette. A small rounded collar marks the beginning of seven fabric covered buttons running down to the waist. Triangular panels point toward the centre of the jacket from the sleeve seams and are adorned with a fabric covered button each. The jacket also has triangular turn up cuffs and is lined in crepe.

The suit is in very good condition however the lining is a little worn as pictured.
