Original 1940s 40s Vintage Novelty Print Smock Top Blouse With Carnival Horses
This stunning smock top was made from wonderfully slippery cold rayon in the 1940s. It features a fantastic novelty print of horses and riders as well as circular medallions with lions in shades of pink and yellow on a teal blue background. The blouse is cut in a classic loose fitting smock style, perfect for easy wearing. The notched lapel collar leads to a flattering v-neckline and a row of four buttons running down the front of the blouse. There is also a small press stud hidden below the collar to fasten the top at the neck if desired. The smock features functional pockets at the hip and voluminous bishop sleeves with neatly fitted cuffs. Inside, the blouse is unlined and has a maker’s label reading Year Round Kaycraft.
