Original 1940s 40s Vintage Navy Blue Ladies Gab Gabardine Skirt Suit By Rosemont
This stunning skirt suit was made in the 1940s from a navy blue wool gabardine. The padded shoulders and shape defining nipped waist gives this suit a classic 40s silhouette. The unusual scalloped collar and pocket flaps really help this beautiful garment stand out from the crowd. Seven faux mother of pearl buttons run down the centre of the jacket, whilst a metal zipper with top button secures the skirt at the waist. Inside, the jacket is lined in blue crepe and has a makers label for Rosemont.

The suit is in good condition throughout, however the loop that holds the top most button is missing and whilst this does not detract, it would be an easy fix if desired.
