Original 1940s 40s Vintage Jacket Brown And White Houndstooth Wool By Marcus
This wonderful jacket was made in the 1940s from a heavy quality wool with a brown and white houndstooth pattern. The jacket is cut with strong padded shoulders and a slight nip to the waist. The centre placket forms a contrasting stripe down the centre of the jacket, which acts as the perfect background for a row of seven fabric covered buttons. Similar solid coloured stripes are featured above the functional slit style waist pockets. The jacket also has a rounded collar and turn up cuffs. Inside, the jacket is lined in satin and has labels for the National Recovery Board as well as the maker Marcus of Worcester
