Original 1940s 40s Vintage Green And Brown Check Blazer With CC41 Utility Label
This wonderful country jacket has been made in the 1940s from a fine quality check patterned wool in shades of forest green, brown and cream. As you would expect from a garment from this decade, the jacket boasts strong padded shoulders and a nipped waist to create a classic hourglass silhouette. The V-neckline is flanked with a notched collar, which marks the starting point for two buttons at the waist. This super functional garment has pockets galore with two functional waist pockets with flaps and a further functional pocket at the bust. At the rear, the hem flares into a flattering peplum with a vent at the bottom and excellent pattern matching to further exaggerate the shape. Inside, the jacket is lined in a rayon fabric and has a makers label for Londonus Super Sportswear, as well as a much sought after CC41 utility label.
