Original 1940s 40s Vintage Fuchsia Pink Skirt Suit With Huge Patch Pockets
This incredible suit was made in the 1940s from a fuchsia pink wool with a subtle herringbone weave. It is cut in a classic 1940s silhouette with super strong padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The notched lapel collar leads down to a single button fastening at the waist. Matching buttons have also been used to decorate the sleeves. Two large functional patch pockets add a stunning design detail to this suit. Inside, the jacket is lined in red satin and without maker’s labels. The matching skirt features a large inverted pleat the the back with decorative arrow stitching above. It closes with an original metal side zipper and button above.
