Original 1940s 40s Vintage Double Breasted Herringbone Coat
This wonderful coat was made from a good quality wool with a cream and grey herringbone pattern in the 1940s. The overcoat is cut in a classic double breasted style with six buttons. The garment features a combination of a v-neckline with a wide notched lapel collar and functional waist pockets with flaps. The coat also boasts padded shoulders and sleeves with large turn up cuffs. Inside, the coat is lined with acetate and has a maker’s label for Holden Coats And Suits.

The coat is in good condition, there are a number of professional darns and marks as pictured which are easily concealed in the pattern of the exterior of the coat. Inside, the lining has a number of holes, marks and signs of wear.
