This wonderful 1940s swing coat was made from a brown, cream and apricot wool blend with contrasting brown gabardine highlights to the collar, cuffs and pockets. An oversized collar and a strong set of padded shoulders gives this coat a classic 1940s silhouette. The garment is fastened with two fabric covered buttons at the neckline and similar buttons are used to decorate the large functional patch pockets at the waist. Inside, the coat is lined in gold satin and has a maker’s label for 20th Century Sportswear.

The coat is in good condition, however it has a number of professionally darned holes to the back and sleeves as pictured.
