Original 1940s 40s Vintage Burgundy Volup Crepe Dress With Bow Bodice And Original Belt

This beautiful dress was made from a deep burgundy crepe in the 1940s. It is cut in a classic 1940s silhouette with padded shoulders and a nipped waist which is further cinched in with the original fabric belt. The flattering tied bow neckline adds some lovely interest to the bodice. Geometric panelling at the waist emphasises the three large pleats at the front of the skirt which add movement to the dress. The three quarter length sleeves are gently gathered at the cuff and the dress closes with original metal side and back of the neck zippers.

The dress is in very good condition throughout, however there is a mend to the back right, a small pulled thread and a seam split as pictured.
