Original 1940s 40s Vintage Black Faille Femme Fatale Suit With Stunning Peplum
This stunning suit was made from black faille in the 1940s. It has a strong 1940s silhouette with padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The suit has a strong Femme Fatale feel with its exaggerated peplum which forms a bustle at the back of the garment. The fabulous mock double collar adds another gorgeous design element. The jacket fastens with six decorative buttons at the front and is lined in black crepe and has a maker’s label for Raleigh Haberdasher. The matching skirt closes with a metal side zipper and button above.
