RESERVED FOR MAGGIE - Original 1940s 40s Pink Grey Check Wool Vintage Double Breasted 3 Three Piece Ladies Skirt Suit And Swing Coat

This stunning three piece skirt suit set comprising of skirt, jacket and coat was made in the 1940s. A quality wool with a pink and grey check is used for all three pieces of this set. Both the suit and the coat are cut in a double breasted style and have the most fabulous squared collar and cross over pocket flaps. The suit itself is cut in a classic hourglass shape, with padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The coat is made in a swing style with large turn up cuffs and functional waist pockets. Inside, both garments are lined in crepe and have maker’s labels for Master Furriers.

The garment is in good condition, however there are a couple of small nibbles as pictured. The lining of both garments is stained at the shoulders and shows some seam splits. We think that the staining has come from the shoulder pads, which are crunchy and there is light staining to the exterior shoulders of both the coat and jacket also.
