Original 1930s 30s Vintage Navy Blue Asymmetric Skirt Suit With Lace Flower Appliqué

This wonderful skirt suit was made from a super light weight crepe in the late 1930s or very early 1940s. The jacket is cut in an unusual asymmetric style and fastened with five fabric covered buttons down the wearer’s lefthand side. The cut of this fabulous jacket is highlighted using a floral lace trim to the garment’s edges. The lace detailing continues on the wearer’s righthand side with an eye catching cream lace floral appliqué extending from the shoulder down to the upper bodice. The combination of padded shoulders and a pretty peplum helps to give this garment that highly desirable and classic 1930s silhouette.
