This beautiful coat was made from a black cotton velvet in the late 1920s. It has a very unusual knot collar emphasised with several rows of top stitching. The lapels run down to a single decorative button at the hip which fastens with a loop closure. The coat is cut in an asymmetric style and boast some fantastic geometric panelling to the back of the garment. Inside, the coat is unlined and without labels, but it would have been lined in super delicate silk which has since been removed.

The exterior of the coat is in very good condition with no issues to note, however lining of the coat has been removed.
