This beautiful day dress was made in the 1930s from a crepe in a beautiful hue between sky blue and periwinkle. As you would expect from a dress from this decade it has the most fabulous puff sleeves and pleated skirt. The dress also boasts gorgeous smocked panels on the bodice, sleeves and waist. The v-neckline is framed with a parallel appliqué line and finished with six tiny faux mother of pearl buttons down the bodice. There is a small side opening with press stud closures for ease of access. This piece simply epitomises the late 1930s aesthetic of playful elegance with folk inspired figure hugging details.

The dress is in good condition, however it has some barely noticeable stains as pictured, most of which are concealed in the pleats of the skirt.
