1940s Volup Striped Suit – Rust & Dark Brown Peplum Jacket & Skirt

A brilliant example of 1940s tailoring made for a fuller figure, this striped suit pairs a sharply fitted peplum jacket with a matching straight skirt. The rust and dark brown stripe has been carefully pieced through the jacket, with the pattern turned on the pocket flaps for a considered, tailored finish. A full run of self-covered buttons runs from collar to hem, and the peplum waist gives real shape without relying on a nipped-in fit.
