This stunning hat was made from navy blue felt in the 1940s. It was fashioned in a halo style, which is pinned to the back of the wearer’s head with the large pleated brim extending above the head to frame the face and hair. The small crown features three decorative lines of stitching and the brim has been beautifully pleated and decorated with a heart edge. This really is one of the most flattering hat styles.
As the hat is pinned to the back of the wearer’s head, it is suitable for a variety of head sizes.
