This exquisite coat was made from sumptuous teal cotton velvet in the 1920s. It was cut in the classic loose fitting flapper coat silhouette and features a wonderful scalloped statement collar that has been accentuated with pin tucks. Matching scalloped detailing adorns the beautiful turn up button cuffs and a single glorious carved floral button fastens the coat at the waist. Inside, it is lined in rayon crepe with a beautiful inside pocket and has a maker’s label for J. W. Robinson Co of Los Angeles.

Shoulders: 17” edge to edge (triangular shoulder seams, so only 12” seam to seam)
Length: 39”
The coat is in good condition with a few areas of wear and marks as pictured as well as some damage to the underarm lining.
