This beautiful top was made in the 1950s from black cotton. It was cut in the classic patio set style of the period with stunning chevrons of gold lurex rick rack trim and a wider lamé woven cream ribbon adorning the front and back of the garment. The sharp collar creates a flattering V neckline and an original metal side zipper ensures easy access. The sleeveless style makes it ideal for summer, just add a skirt or a pair of cropped trousers or jeans for a ready made outfit.

The top is in good condition, however some of the trim at the back is fraying and there is some slight underarm discolouration as pictured.
