Fabulous Original 1940s 40s Vintage Red Skirt Suit By Four Star
This amazing suit was made from a lightweight red wool in the 1940s. It is cut in the classic hourglass silhouette of the time with padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The notched lapel collar has rounded edges which mirror the beautifully scalloped double mock pocket flaps at the waist. The jacket fastens with four fabric covered buttons at the front and is unlined. It also has a maker’s label for Four Star Fashions. The matching skirt fastens with an original metal side zipper and press stud closure above.

Length: 31” plus 2” hem
The suit is in good condition, however there are a few tiny marks, a pinhole and two frays as pictured and the bottom button is worn and would benefit from over stitching to secure the fabric.
