Fabulous Original 1930s Vintage Sheer Black Georgette Puff Sleeve Dress
This wonderful dress was made from sheer black georgette in the 1930s. It was cut in the classic silhouette of the period with gathered puff sleeves and a gentle nip to the waist. The bust was fashioned in a deep V neck style with a fixed ruched modesty panel in the centre and an asymmetrical peplum adorns the waist, extending to be longer across the back of the dress. The skirt glows freely giving wonderful movement to the piece. As the dress is unlined and very sheer, we would recommend wearing a slip underneath, either plain black or bright coloured for contrast, unless you are very daring.
Please note the dress slides on over the head and has no openings.
