Fabulous 1980s does 1940s Vintage Brown Gabardine Blazer With Button Details
This beautiful blazer was made from brown wool in the 1980s. It was very much cut in a 1940s style, so much so that in the absence of looking at the labels, it could easily be mistaken for a period piece, making it ideal for anyone who loves the wartime aesthetic but wants a garment for daily wear. The blazer is beautifully tailored with gorgeous geometric seam work at the bust. The small collar leads to two fabric covered buttons which fasten the jacket at the neck and five matching buttons add a decorative detail on each side of the bust. Inside, the blazer is lined in satin and gas a maker’s label for Randall as well as a size 10 tag and a 100% wool label.
Bust: 42”
Waist: 32”
Shoulders: 17” seam to seam
Length: 25”
The blazer is in good condition with only some slight shoulder fade as well as a tiny snag as pictured. The original belt loops appear to have been removed.
