Exquisite Original 1930s Vintage Burgundy Knit Set With Lace Knit Inserts
This incredible knit set was fashioned from a fine burgundy coloured silk yarn in the 1930s. It exhibits the classic slim fitting elongated silhouette of the early 1930s era that exudes effortless elegance. Three delicate lace knit panels adorn the bodice and matching detailing draws the eye to the neckline. A tasseled tie fastens the sweater at the neck and adds a wonderful design detail. The matching skirt comes in a longer mid-calf length that is typical of the period and fastens with poppers at the side.
