This wonderful dress was made from a black wool in the 1940s. The dress is cut in an hourglass silhouette created through padded shoulders and a belted waist with an arrow tip. A tab collar with a v-neckline marks the starting point for a line of five fabric covered buttons down to the waist. There are two pleats at each side of the hip both at the front and the back of the skirt which give beautiful movement to the dress. The dress also has long sleeves with press studs fastenings at the cuffs.

The dress is in very good condition throughout.
