This wonderful buckle was made from black plastic in the late 1930s / early 1940s. Each half features a carved triangle design in the centre with a straight ridge where the two halves meet. A metal loop fastens the two halves together and there are small holes to see them to a fabric belt.

 

Size: 2 3/4” x 1 1/4”

 

The buckle is in very good condition, with only a small chip and some warping to the clasp as pictured.
