This stunning dress was made in the 1940s from rayon with an abstract blue and white novelty print of promenading figures and trees. It was cut in the classic hourglass silhouette of the period with padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The draped shawl collar creates an unusual overlapping V neckline and the skirt flares gently for wonderful movement. The dress is unlined inside and fastens with an original metal side zipper.

The dress is in good condition with some small pinholes and marks as pictured. There are a number of small holes on the right shoulder which could potentially be patched if desired.
