Stunning Original 1930s Vintage Navy Blue Asymmetric Boucle Coat With Bishop Sleeves
This fabulous coat was made in the 1930s from navy blue bouclé wool. It was cut in the classic loose fitting silhouette of the period with a beautiful asymmetrical design that fastens with a single large carved button at the waist. The high stand up neckline adds coziness and large pockets at the hips give a practical feature. The stunning bishop sleeves are brought in by tight fitting cuffs that accentuate the shape further. Inside, the coat is lined in blue faille with a waist tie for improved fit and has a maker’s label for Marley’s of New Haven.

The coat it in good condition, however there is some darning at the shoulder, a few marks (the largest are on the back and less noticeable in person) and some wear to the lining as pictured.
