Original 1940s Vintage Cream Silk Novelty Print Dressing Gown Wedding Robe
This gorgeous robe was made in the 1940s from cream coloured silk with a wonderful novelty print of floral sprays encased in circular frames. It was cut in the classic hourglass silhouette of the period with padded shoulders and a wonderful wrap over design that nips in the waist with a fabric tie belt. The large notched lapel collar and patch pocket on the right hip add beautiful period details and turn up cuffs finish off the sleeves perfectly. This stunning dressing gown would be equally lovely for lounging on a lazy summer weekend morning as it would be starring in a bride’s getting ready shots before her wedding.
