This incredible coat was made in the 1940s from imitation leopard fur. It was cut in the classic swing coat style of the period with super strong padded shoulders and a beautiful pleated swing back. The perfectly placed shoulder yolk at the back emphasises the peak of the padded shoulders. The sleeves are wide cut and flare slightly towards the large turn up cuffs. The coat fastens with a button and loop at the neck and waist but would look equally stylish worn unbuttoned. Inside, the coat is lined in brown floral patterned rayon with a wool interlining and has a National Recovery Board label.
